Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer

Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer is Chief Executive of SpareBank 1 SR-Bank. She has 20 years of board experience as non-executive director and chair in listed and unlisted companies within several industries and government-owned businesses. She has served as Chairman of the Board of the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Ms. Fasmer has more than 30 years of executive experience in the financial sector, capital markets, industry and shipping. She was Group Executive Director for Corporate Banking at Norway's largest bank, DNB. She has also served as Group Executive for the Capital Markets Division and Treasury, executive manager in an asset management company specialising in private equity funds, and finance director in a pan-European FMCG company.

She holds a Master’s in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics.
