The summary of the FACTI Panel briefing for Member States is now available.
Held virtually on December 11, 2020, the briefing offered an opportunity for an interactive discussion between the FACTI Panel and Member States on the work done by the Panel since the release of its interim report, as well as its tentative roadmap for the final report.
Nearly 120 people participated in the meeting, and 10 delegations made statements. Interventions addressed creation vs implementation of instruments and governance structures, the need to assess anti-corruption commitments, and the impact of IFFs on countries’ ability to respond to the effects of COVID-19.
