The FACTI Panel is mandated to solicit comments and suggestions from interested stakeholders including policymakers and government officials, representatives of international agencies, academics, the private sector and members of civil society, both at its formal meetings and between them.
In the Interim Report, published on 24 September 2020, Panel Members presented their analysis of gaps, vulnerabilities, impediments and systemic shortcomings in the current legal and institutional frameworks for financial integrity, transparency and accountability.
Due to the continued inability to meet physically as a result of COVID-19, further virtual consultations will be held to solicit comments and suggestions from interested stakeholders. However, recognizing that it is not possible for all interested stakeholders to participate in meetings, the Panel would like to invite written comments and suggestions.
The Panel would welcome written comments on the Interim Report and stakeholders’ suggestions for recommendations that are technically feasible, politically viable and have direct bearing on releasing resources for the Sustainable Development Goals. Written input should be concise, and the Panel may decide to publish any comments received on the Panel’s website, if appropriate.
Please submit your written comments by 20 November 2020 to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you.
